888 creates new program for women: SheLEADS
888 has created a new employee programme called SheLEADS to assist in the development of women within the global offices of its company.
The programme, which will start this year, will select thirty-one women as “SheLEADERS”, and over the course of eight weeks, they will meet once a week for development sessions with external experts who will help them improve their skillset.
What will these SheLEADERS learn? Many different things, such as storytelling, personal branding and effective communication, which they will then be able to use on a daily basis in their work. The course will last eight weeks, and hopefully these women will inspire the next generation of female leaders at 888.
At the end of January, the thirty-one SheLEADERS will take part in the final event of the programme, called “SheLEADS On Stage,” where they will discuss their personal and professional path, so as to inspire other female colleagues.

This programme aligns with 888’s focus on creating a GR8 workplace: one in which fairness, diversity and talents are fundamental staples. In order to do this, the company will increase the number of women in managerial roles at 888 by more than 10% by 2023. By doing this, 888 will continue to attract and maintain the best talents, and offer them with unique opportunities and a wonderful work environment.
